WALKING TOGETHER THROUGH AGLO’s SYNODAL JOURNEY
You have chosen the path of AGLO's listening sessions
Thank you for choosing to participate with AGLOChicago in a listening session. Listening sessions will be approximately 2 hours in length and conducted over online via the Zoom video conferencing system. Each session will begin with prayer and offer small group listening sessions.
Listening sessions are based on Ignatian Spiritual Conversations during which each participant will have the opportunity to speak for approximately 6 minutes total in response to three questions. Participants are encouraged to listen with attentiveness and openness to the experiences and stories of others, allowing these stories to touch their hearts.
Prior to the session, we ask that you spend time preparing and reflecting on the synod’s three themes of communion, participation, and mission by praying with the AGLO Synod Preparatory document. This guide provides a scriptural reading and questions that guide you through an Ignatian reflection/contemplation process.
We will send you a reminder with link to join the Zoom online meeting when we get closer to the session. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding the preparatory process or about the listening session.
